We’re Back on the Road— Trade Show Season Is Here

on the road

There’s something that happens the moment you walk onto a trade show floor that you just can’t replicate on a Zoom call. The energy is different. The conversations are different. You run into someone you haven’t seen since last year’s show and spend 45 minutes talking about everything that’s changed in the industry — and somehow that conversation ends up being more valuable than anything on the official agenda.

That’s trade show season. And we are so here for it.

The AOM team is hitting the road this season, and we couldn’t be more excited about two shows in particular: the FL/AL RV Park & Campground Association Show and TACO — the Texas Association of Campground Owners annual show. If you’re going to be at either one, we want to see you.

Why We Show Up Every Year

We get asked sometimes whether trade shows are still worth it — whether the industry has moved enough online that the in-person circuit matters less than it used to.

Our answer is always the same: absolutely yes. More than ever, actually.

The outdoor hospitality industry is in a moment of real evolution. Ownership is changing hands. New investors are entering the space. Experienced operators are navigating a market that looks meaningfully different than it did two or three years ago. The conversations that move things forward — the ones where someone says “here’s what I’m actually dealing with” and someone else says “here’s what worked for us” — those happen at the shows. They happen in hallways and at dinner tables and over bad coffee between sessions.

We show up because this industry is built on relationships, and relationships require presence.

What We Love About These Two Shows Specifically

The FL/AL Show and TACO hold a special place for us. Florida, Alabama, and Texas represent some of the most active and dynamic outdoor hospitality markets in the country right now — high demand, active investment pipelines, and a community of operators who are genuinely invested in doing this right. The caliber of conversation at these shows reflects that.

We also love that both shows draw a real mix — seasoned owners who’ve been doing this for decades alongside first-time buyers trying to figure out what they’re getting into. That range matters. The industry grows when experience gets shared freely, and both of these events create the conditions for that to happen.

Come Find Us

Whether you’re an owner we’ve worked with before, someone exploring what professional management could do for your property, or just a fellow industry enthusiast who wants to talk shop — come find us.

We want to hear what’s happening at your park. We want to know what’s keeping you up at night and what’s going better than expected. We want to share what we’re seeing across our portfolio and what’s working in the current market. And honestly, we just want to catch up with the people who make this industry what it is.

If you’re attending the FL/AL Show or TACO this season, look for the AOM team. Say hello. Let’s grab a few minutes together — or a few hours if the conversation goes that way.

This is one of our favorite times of year. See you out there.
